Thursday, April 27: Memories of Brazil’s Discovery
•    Projection and debate of the film “Rouge Brésil”. ICBIE Hall at 3 PM.
•    Projection and debate of the film “La missione”, ICBIE Hall at 6:30 PM.
Friday, April 28:
•    Replica of film “Rouge Brésil”. ICBIE Hall at 3 PM.
Saturday, April 29, starting at 5 PM — Memory of Literature
“Cordel” Presentation of the book “Literatura brasileira em cordel,” by Antonio Barreto with the author.
Meeting of poets, with the participation of Cacau Novais, Douglas Almeida and the group “O Boca de Brasa”.
Projection of the film “Gregório de Mattos”
ICBIE Hall.
Sunday, April 30, starting at 4:30 PM – Memory of Architecture
In collaboration with the Department of Romance Letters – Italian Section of the UFBA, and with St. Michael’s College – University of Toronto (Canada).
Projection of the film Aleijadinho, Gênio da arquitetura barroca de Minas Gerais”.

Wednesday, May 3 and Thursday, May 4: Memory of “Cordel” Poetry
Laboratory of “cordel,” with the author and cordelist Osmar Simões Machado Jr.
For student audiences: for primary and middle school.

Thursday May 4 – Memory of Theater
Projection and debate of the film: “Romance” at 6:30 PM.

Friday, May 5 – Memory of Cordel Poetry
Laboratory of “cordel” with the professor and cordelist Antonio Barreto
For student audiences: for primary and middle school.
From 2 PM to 6 PM  – ICBIE Hall

Saturday May 6 – Memory of Music
Projection and debate of the film “Tropicália”
Performance by the ICBIE Musical Group.
From 6 PM – ICBIE Hall.
Sunday, May 7
•    5:30 PM – Brief theatrical spectacle by the Little Company of Theater and Music of the ICBIE
•    6:30 PM – Literary coffee with an exposition of cordels (produced in the laboratories): debate with historians and residents of the Itapagipe Peninsula
•    ICBIE Hall

All days comprise visits to the historic photograpic exhibition of the ME.PE. Itapagipe Peninsula Memories Museum.
